Dignity Health – Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with X-ray, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI. You will collaborate with radiologists, ensure patient safety, and contribute to timely, accurate diagnoses.

The role requires ARRT certification, AZ MRAD licensure, and BLS CPR, with prior radiology experience. YRMC offers relocation support and a stable healthcare environment in Prescott, AZ.

Qualifications

• Completion of approved ARRT Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Twelve months radiology experience.
• AZ MRAD license.
• ARRT certification required.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic exams across hospital: X-ray, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI.
• Assists radiologist in Fluoro procedures.
• Prepares patients for studies and documents history for IV contrast.
• Maintains sterile field and adheres to protocol.
• Locates films, prints reports, and assists physicians.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

• Performs exams based on skeletal anatomy and patient habitus
• Assists radiologist in performance of Fluoro procedures
• Performs radiologic exams in all areas of the hospital. Interdepartmentally, Portables, Surgery, Litho, ER/Trauma
• Prepares patients for and performs catheterization for urinary studies: VCUG, Urethrogram, Cystogram
• Evaluates and communicates patient history to radiologist in preparation for IV contrast
• Assists Imaging Support in locating films, printing reports and assisting physicians
• Completes hospital/departmental forms per protocol
• Maintains the integrity of a sterile field during procedures that call for such precautions: Surgery, PICC Lines, Urinary, Catheterization
