Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA, seeks a CT Tech to perform CT imaging and CT-guided interventional procedures, under physician direction. The role includes patient education, safe equipment operation, and thorough documentation in a Level I trauma center environment.

The facility is a 525-bed tertiary care hospital and the primary teaching site for EVMS, offering comprehensive imaging services and a strong commitment to staff development.

Qualifications

• Education: ALD Radiologic Sciences or trade school certificate.
• Certification/Licensure: ARRT or CNMT required or to be obtained within 2 years of hire.
• CT registry to be obtained within 2 years of hire.
• No CT experience required; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform Computed Tomography (CT) and CT-guided interventional procedures under physician direction.
• Provide patient and family education; operate equipment safely.
• Complete department documentation and maintain inventory.
• Maintain and service imaging equipment and supplies.
