Job summary

Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital in South Boston, VA is seeking a CAT Scan Technologist II to join our imaging team on a full-time, evening shift.

You will perform CT exams under physician supervision, follow protocols, educate patients and families, administer contrast, operate equipment safely and keep accurate documentation while maintaining supplies and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Radiologic technologist with ARRT or CNMT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Must obtain ARRT CT advanced registry within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform Computed Tomography (CT) examinations per protocol under physician supervision.
• Provide patient and family education and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Operate CT equipment safely, document examinations, and maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain adequate supply inventory and ensure equipment readiness.
• Administer CT contrast as outlined by protocol and regulatory guidelines.
