Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a CT Tech to join our radiology team. The role performs Computed Tomography and CT-guided interventional procedures under physician supervision, educates patients and families, and ensures safe operation of imaging equipment.

ARRT or CNMT certification is required within 2 years of hire; new grads are welcome. A Radiologic Sciences ALD degree or a trade school certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT or CNMT certification obtained within 2 years of hire.
• CT registry obtained within 2 years of hire.
• No CT experience required; new grads welcome.
• Experience in a radiology setting is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs Computed Tomography and CT-guided interventional procedures under physician supervision.
• Provides patient and family education related to imaging procedures.
• Operates imaging equipment safely and maintains department documentation.
• Maintains equipment and supplies for examinations and ensures clean, ready rooms.
