Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem is seeking a full-time CT Technologist II at Highland Park Hospital. The role involves performing CT exams, preparing patients, and ensuring quality imaging for diagnosis.

Candidates must have an IEMA license and ARRT Registered status, as well as a Certification or Associate's degree in Radiology. A sign-on bonus of $10,000 is offered, alongside various employee benefits including tuition reimbursement and health savings options.

Qualifications

• Previous CT Technologist experience - at least 5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury.
• Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort.
• Complete all paperwork and submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner.
• Review CT's to ensure optimum quality.

Hourly Pay Range: $35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
• Hours: M-F 2:30-11pm

What you will do

• Perform CT exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures
• Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
• Complete all paperwork and submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner
• Review CT's to ensure optimum quality

What you will need

• License: IEMA license and ARRT Registered required
• Education: Certification or Associate's degree in Radiology from an accredited program; CPR Certification required; Advanced CT Certification required
• Experience: Previous CT Technologist experience - at least 5 years preferred
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
