Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston, IL is seeking a full-time CT Technologist II to perform CT examinations essential for patient diagnosis and treatment. What you will do

• Perform CT exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures
• Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
• Complete all paperwork and submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner
• Review CT's to ensure optimum quality

What you will need

• Education: Certification or Associate's degree in Radiology from an accredited program
• Certification: CPR Certification required; Advanced CT Certification required
• Experience: Previous CT Technologist experience - at least 5 years preferred
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
