Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT equipment, produce diagnostic images, and ensure patient safety. You will prepare patients, position them, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver timely results in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include contrast administration, image review, quality control, and adherence to safety protocols. Candidates should have 1-2 years radiologic program experience and 2-4 years CT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical experience from an accredited radiologic sciences program.
• 2-4 years of CT Technologist experience in an acute care hospital preferred.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state; CT certification or eligibility within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images per protocols.
• Prepares, positions, and immobilizes patients as needed for CT procedures.
• Administers contrast media and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Reviews images and communicates findings to radiologists and care team.
• Performs quality control checks on CT equipment; maintains a clean work area.
• Responds to emergencies and ensures patient safety throughout imaging.
