AdventHealth in Winter Park, FL is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT exams with emphasis on patient safety and high image quality. The role requires accurate documentation in EMR and PACS, coordination with radiologists, and adherence to infection control and ALARA principles.

You will operate scanners, inject contrast when appropriate, and educate patients while maintaining efficient workflow during night shifts. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
• Associate (Preferred)
• Bachelor's (Preferred)
• Experience with CT and radiology workflows preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CT safety and patient positioning.

Responsibilities

• Practicing infection control and using PPE and disinfectants.
• Follows protocols for patient ID, consent, and time-out procedures.
• Maintains accurate EMR and PACS documentation.
• Educates patients about exams and maintains workflow efficiency.
• Operates CT equipment safely, adapting protocols for all ages.
• Performs high-quality CT exams per orders and protocols.
• Reviews history to confirm exam appropriateness and contraindications.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast with safety monitoring.
• Collaborates with radiologists to ensure imaging quality and patient care.
