Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a CT technologist for Atrium Health Cabarrus - CT to perform CT scans, evaluate image quality and support Radiologists. The role requires ARRT certification in Radiology with CT registry within one year of hire and BLS.

Schedule includes Saturday, Sunday, Monday with 7a–7:30p and 36 hours per week in a full-time capacity. Compensation ranges from $33.05 to $49.60 per hour with full benefits and opportunities for professional growth within Advocate Health's national

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT within one year of hire.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders with the Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Review patient medical history in EMR and document requisitions.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and report equipment issues.
• Rotate shifts including weekends and holidays as required.
