Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from a medical imaging program and obtain ARRT or NMTCB within 6 months.
• State radiography license as required by the service location.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• 1 year CT technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare room and equipment for patient exams and follow sterile technique.
• Perform diagnostic CT exams and obtain quality images per protocol.
• Explain procedures to patients and document variations from protocol.
• Maintain patient safety, transport patients as needed, and assist radiologists.
• Operate PACS to ensure exams are available for radiologist review.
• Maintain supplies and proper film labeling; follow safety guidelines.
