Job summary

AdventHealth Denver is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols. You will educate patients, ensure safe IV contrast administration, and maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and PACS.

The role requires ARRT CT and RT(R) certification, strong attention to radiation safety and ALARA, and excellent teamwork with radiologists and staff to ensure patient care continuity in a busy radiology department.

Qualifications

• Valid ARRT RT(R) certification required.
• ARRT CT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging equipment safely and accurately per orders.
• Educate patients about the exam and administer IV contrast according to safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Follow department protocols for patient identification and time-out procedures.
