Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
• ARRT licensure in Radiography and CT required; CPR/BLS certification may be required.
• Experience in radiology and CT training programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practicing infection control standards and using PPE and disinfectants.
• Follows department protocols for patient identification, consent, and time-out procedures.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and PACS systems.
• Educates patients about exams and completes exams timely to maintain workflow.
• Operates CT equipment safely, adapts protocols for all ages, and ensures image quality.
• Reviews patient history to confirm exam appropriateness and contraindications.
• Administers IV contrast safely and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Positions patients accurately, maintaining radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare providers for continuity of care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
