Job summary

Geisinger Wyoming Valley is seeking a CT Technologist I for day shifts (32 hours weekly) with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants. Under radiologist supervision, you will perform CT procedures, post-processing, and dose data monitoring across thoracic, abdominal, pelvic, neuro, and musculoskeletal studies.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program (Required).
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
• ARRT certification within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to acquire diagnostic images.
• Maintains knowledge to operate different CT systems at multiple locations.
• Follows Image Gently guidelines and dose data monitoring.
• Matches protocols to patient history and major organ systems for thoracic, abdominal, pelvic, neuro, and musculoskeletal regions.
• Obtains CT images according to established protocols and ensures proper patient preparation and positioning.
• Performs CT interventional procedures and CTA imaging (carotid, head, vertebral, run-offs).
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacology and physiology to optimize scans and minimize dose.
