Job summary

St. David's Medical Center in Texas seeks an experienced CT Technologist to produce high-quality diagnostic scans for patients from neonatal to geriatric.

You will follow established protocols, operate CT scanners, and support rapid STAT cases while maintaining patient safety and image quality. The role requires 1 year of acute care radiology experience, CT procedures proficiency, and current MRT/ARRT certifications.

Qualifications

• One year experience as Radiology Technologist in acute care.
• CT procedures experience preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (R) certification current.
• ARRT (CT) certification within 6 months.
• BLS certification current.
• Texas MRT certification.

Responsibilities

• Produce scans of diagnostic quality for Neonatal to Geriatric patients.
• Follow established scanning protocols.
• Operate CT scanner and related equipment.
• Complete quality scans quickly while meeting STAT demands.
• Position patients appropriately for trauma and challenging cases.
• Understand disease processes to optimize studies.
• Use power injector and recognize its limits.
• Scan patients of all ages and tailor exams accordingly.
• Document on forms, logs, and Meditech.
• Assist Radiologist during invasive procedures.
• Ensure CT equipment is functioning properly.
