Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT scans across ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations. The role emphasizes ALARA and patient safety, with opportunities to work overtime and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Two year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible.
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Health: Radiation Control Program.
• Must obtain CT certification within 12 months of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and documents patient information/history for exams.
• Documents contrast information and allergy data in medical record.
• Performs CT exams with high accuracy.
• Quality control exams using PACS system.
• Complies with ALARA and department protocols.
• Participates in on-call and holiday rotation as needed.
• Maintains patient and staff safety and teamwork.
