Job summary

Advocate Health’s CT department at Aurora Sinai Medical Center seeks a Radiologic Technologist to operate CT equipment, position patients, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images. The role requires Wisconsin radiography licensure, ARRT RT registration, plus timely CT credentialing and BLS completion.

You will work in a 40-hour week with full benefits and a focus on patient safety, accuracy, and efficient imaging workflows in a busy radiology service.

Qualifications

• Advanced training in Radiologic Technology beyond high school.
• Licensure as Wisconsin Radiography required and ARRT RT registration.
• CT certification within 18 months of hire; BLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to perform diagnostic procedures across body regions.
• Obtain patient history and verify requisitions for exam accuracy.
• Position patients and optimize scanning factors with attention to safety and imaging quality.
• Administer contrast under Radiologist direction and assist with techniques.
• Post-process images, label studies, and ensure accuracy of patient data and charges.
• Document in RIS and code procedures correctly for billing.
