Location: US:WI:WEST BEND at our FROEDTERT WEST BEND HOSPITAL facility.
This job is ON-SITE.
This position qualifies for a $10,000 sign on bonus!
FTE: 0.863 (34.52hrs)
Shift: Shift 3
7/70 schedule:
Monday-Thursday 10pm-7am;
Friday and Saturday: 10pm-10am;
Sunday 10pm-7am
Job Summary:
At the direction of a radiologist, operates computed tomography (CT) and related equipment. Performs CT studies according to specific guidelines, prescribed protocols, and utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Reviews images; archives with associated patient data. Interacts with imaging personnel, nursing and medical staff, patients, and visitors.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
A minimum of 1 year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred. Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required.
Advanced certification in CT required within 18 months of hire/transfer.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
