Job summary

Cherry Hill Free Clinic is seeking a CT Technologist to support our Diagnostic Float Team across multiple facilities, including Columbia County Medical Center and MCG Health Medical Center.

You will perform CT exams, verify patient identity, explain procedures with AIDET, and ensure safety while preparing and positioning patients. The role emphasizes patient safety, quality imaging, and collaboration with care teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• At least 2 years of hospital-based Radiologic Technologist and CT experience.
• ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• perform high-quality CT exams following physician orders and safety protocols
• verify patient identity and obtain relevant history
• explain procedures with empathy using AIDET
• prepare and position patients, assist with mobility, and ensure safety during transfers
• establish IV access and administer contrast media safely, monitoring for adverse reactions
• operate CT scanners and injectors, ensuring optimal imaging while minimizing radiation exposure
• evaluate image quality, recognize urgent findings, and elevate as needed
• document procedures accurately, manage RIS and PACS entries, and perform quality control checks
• support daily operations by maintaining equipment, supplies, and compliance with regulatory standards
