Job summary

Fairview Hospital / Cleveland Clinic is seeking a CT Technologist to support a mobile imaging team across multiple facilities, performing CT exams per physician orders while prioritizing safety and patient experience.

This full-time role includes relocation assistance, PTO, wellness programs, and career development opportunities within a dynamic imaging team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • At least 2 years of hospital-based radiologic and CT experience.
  • ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS certifications preferred.
  • Strong communication, technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT exams per orders, protocols, and safety standards.
  • Verify patient identity, obtain history, screen for contraindications, and explain procedures empathetically.
  • Prepare and position patients, assist transfers, and establish IV access.
  • Administer contrast safely, monitor for adverse reactions, and operate CT scanners and injectors.
  • Optimize imaging to maximize diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Evaluate images, recognize urgent findings, and collaborate with physicians.
  • Complete documentation in RIS/PACS and perform quality control checks.
  • Support daily operations and maintain equipment in compliance with standards.

Job description

Role: CT Technologist supporting a mobile imaging team across multiple facilities, delivering high-quality, safe imaging services and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT exams according to physician orders, protocols, and safety standards.
  • Verify patient identity, obtain history, screen for contraindications, and explain procedures empathetically.
  • Prepare and position patients, assist with transfers, and establish IV access using sterile techniques.
  • Administer contrast media safely, monitor for adverse reactions, and operate CT scanners and injectors.
  • Optimize imaging techniques to ensure diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Evaluate images, recognize urgent findings, and collaborate with physicians as needed.
  • Complete documentation accurately, manage RIS and PACS entries, and perform quality control checks.
  • Support daily operations, maintain equipment, and adhere to regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • At least 2 years of hospital-based radiologic and CT experience.
  • Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS (American Heart Association).
  • Strong communication, technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
