Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking a CT Technologist to support a mobile imaging team across multiple facilities. You will perform CT exams, verify patient identity, obtain clinical history, and ensure safety standards are met with clear, empathetic communication.

The role requires ARRT-CT and ARRT-R certifications, BLS, and a minimum of 2 years hospital radiologic technologist experience, including CT, with strong teamwork and patient-care skills to deliver high-quality imaging services.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years hospital radiologic technologist experience, including CT
  • ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, BLS from the American Heart Association
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with a high school diploma

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT exams according to physician orders and protocols
  • Verify patient identity, obtain history, and screen for contraindications
  • Communicate procedures clearly and empathetically using AIDET
  • Prepare, position, and assist patients with mobility and immobilization
  • Establish IV access, administer contrast media, and monitor for adverse reactions
  • Operate CT equipment and optimize imaging while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA)
  • Evaluate image quality, recognize urgent findings, involve physicians as needed
  • Document procedures, manage RIS and PACS entries, and perform quality checks
  • Support daily operations, maintain equipment, and adhere to regulatory standards

Job description

Role: CT Technologist supporting a mobile imaging team across multiple facilities, delivering high-quality, safe CT scans with emphasis on patient care and safety standards.
Responsibilities Include
  • Performing CT exams according to physician orders and protocols.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • At least 2 years of hospital-based radiologic technologist experience, including 2 years in CT.
  • Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS from the American Heart Association.
