Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a CT technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures, administer contrast, review history with radiologists, and educate patients. You will operate CT and power injectors, follow ALARA, document in EMR, and assist with interventional procedures as needed.

Minimum radiography program graduate with ARRRT radiography and CT registrations within 2 years. Wisconsin or Illinois licenses, CPR/BLS within 90 days, and ability to flex shifts including weekends, holidays, and calls

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• ARRT Radiography and CT registrations within 2 years.
• Active radiography license for WI or IL as applicable.
• CPR or BLS certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and power injector for diagnostic imaging.
• Administer contrast media and maintain aseptic technique.
• Review clinical history with radiologist and ensure correct exam.
• Provide patient education and post-procedure instructions.
• Support students and partners; follow ALARA principles.
• Document procedures in EMR and manage imaging data.
• Flex shifts, including weekends/holidays and on-call as needed.
• Assist radiologist with interventional procedures when required.
