Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography; ARRT (CT) preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1-2 years of radiologic technologist experience; CT imaging experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Use CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and radiation protection practices.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
