Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. This position is in the Cat Scan department, with an evening shift and hourly pay between $48.63 and $57.87.

Candidates must graduate from an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology, be ARRT registered, hold a NJ license, and complete orientation programs. ARRT CT certification is preferred, and full-time scheduling applies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the ARRT.
• NJ License required.
• Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.
• ARRT CT certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
• Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures and patient care.
• Conducts other related duties and maintains knowledge of other areas in the department.
• Uses an understanding of growth and development to assess each patient's age-specific needs.
