You will administer contrast media within legal scope, adhere to radiation safety protocols, monitor patient status during procedures, and ensure timely submission of verified images to the PACS. The role emphasizes patient safety, clinical monitoring, and equipment upkeep in a busy imaging department.

Responsibilities

• Imaging & Technical Execution: Accurately position patients and select optimal exposure factors and anatomic parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Patient Safety & Medication: Administer contrast media and medications within legal scope while strictly adhering to radiation safety protocols to prevent unnecessary exposure.
• Clinical Monitoring & Quality Control: Observe patients for abnormal activity during procedures and ensure the prompt submission of verified images and data to PACS.
• Equipment & Lab Management: Monitor equipment functionality, execute lock/tag-out safety procedures for malfunctions, and maintain a clean, orderly clinical environment.
