Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CAT scans, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout imaging. This role requires proficient operation of CT equipment and adherence to department protocols.

You will prepare patients, position for imaging, manage contrast administration, and document procedures in RIS/PACS. The position includes responsibilities such as training staff and supporting radiology operations, with an evening shift and union context

Qualifications

• Experience performing CT scans and radiology procedures.
• Commitment to patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Familiarity with radiology safety standards and ALARA principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT exams and ensure comfort and modesty.
• Position patients and operate CT equipment per protocol.
• Administer contrast as required and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and accurate records in RIS/PACS.
• Train new CT Technologists and students and ensure equipment readiness.
