Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a CT Technologist to prepare patients and perform CT examinations under physician orders. You will produce high quality images and present them to Radiologists for timely interpretation, while supporting quality service to patients, families, physicians and associates.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology or NMTCB CNMT with documented CT training.
• Advanced ARRT or NMTCB CT certification within 1 year of hire date.
• Six months relevant experience; CT experience preferred.
• American Heart Association CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT exams by confirming orders and verifying identity.
• Perform CT examinations on all age groups with demonstrated competency.
• Maintain a safe environment with radiation safety practices.
• Supervise and support CT students and cross-training programs.
• Monitor supplies and ensure uninterrupted CT services.
• Document data for billing and departmental operations.
