Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scan procedures to support the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role requires careful patient positioning, image acquisition, and adherence to safety protocols under supervision in Imaging Services.

Qualified applicants must have an AMA approved Radiology Technology program, Texas Radiologic Technologist license, BLS certification, and ARRT radiography registration.

Qualifications

• AMA approved School of Radiology Technology coursework/training completed.
• Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License obtained upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association required upon hire.
• ARRT Radiography certification/registry obtained upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scan procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Assists with patient positioning and safety during imaging.

Under the direct supervision of the CT Supervisor and the general supervision of the Director of Imaging Services, performs CT Scan procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and injuries.

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training in satisfactory completion of an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology.
• Upon hire: Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist – Radiography – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Preferred Qualifications

• Computed Tomography Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
• Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
