Job summary

Providence is seeking a CT Technologist for Emergency Services, PRN, Day shift in Texas. Under supervision, you will perform CT scans to aid in diagnosis and treatment, ensuring patient safety and image quality.

Required qualifications include AMA approved radiology program, Texas license, BLS, and ARRT radiography certification; preferred CT certification and 1 year radiology experience.

Qualifications

• AMA approved School of Radiology Technology program completion.
• Texas Radiologic Technologist license to be held upon hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification to be held upon hire.
• ARRT Radiography certification to be held upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scan procedures under supervision to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Ensures quality imaging and patient safety during CT procedures.

Under the direct supervision of the CT Supervisor and the general supervision of the Director of Imaging Services, performs CT Scan procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and injuries.

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training in satisfactory completion of an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology.
• Upon hire: Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Preferred Qualifications

• Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
• Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
