Job summary

Covenant Health is seeking a CT Technologist for Emergency Services on a PRN day shift. You will perform CT scan procedures to aid in diagnosis, operate CT equipment, and follow established safety protocols to protect patients and staff.

Qualified candidates will have AMA-approved radiology training, Texas radiologic technologist licensure, BLS, and ARRT registration; preference for Nuclear Medicine or additional CT certifications and 1 year of radiologic tech experience.

Qualifications

• AMA approved School of Radiology Technology program.
• Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License (upon hire).
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire).
• ARRT - Registered Technologist Radiography (upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Performs CT Scan procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Operates CT equipment under supervision.
• Ensures safety protocols and patient positioning per protocol.

Under the direct supervision of the CT Supervisor and the general supervision of the Director of Imaging Services, performs CT Scan procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and injuries.

Qualifications

• Coursework/Training in satisfactory completion of an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology.
• Upon hire: Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Preferred Qualifications

• Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
• Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

Pay Range: $33.65 - $52.25. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
