Job summary

Mercy Health in the Youngstown area is seeking a CT Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging and direct patient care using CT scanners, while ensuring safety and patient comfort.

You will perform CT procedures, adjust positioning, administer contrast as needed, assist radiologists, and maintain imaging systems. On-call rotation may be required; ARRT certification and BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in radiologic technology from an ARRT-accredited program.
• ARRT registration/certification in Diagnostic Radiology (preferred).
• BLS certification required at hire for healthcare locations; CT-specific training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures and ensures image quality.
• Properly positions patients and immobilizes as needed.
• Administers IV contrast as required by protocol.
• Assists radiologist with biopsies and procedures.
• Maintains CT IT systems (PACS, Radiant) and safety standards.
• Participates in on-call rotation.
