Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a CT Technologist I for PRN/part-time coverage in the radiology department. You will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, verify orders, and collaborate with the radiology team to ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, preparing patients, reviewing histories, and assisting radiologists with procedures while maintaining strict infection control and radiation safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and associated equipment per departmental protocols.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Review medical history and correlate with test results for accurate interpretation.
• Assist Radiologist/PA during procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Adhere to radiation safety practices and report equipment malfunctions.
