Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a clinical setting. You will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, administer contrast as needed, verify identities, and ensure ALARA safety principles are followed.

You’ll evaluate image quality and support interventional procedures, while educating students and healthcare staff. Required ARRT or NMTCB certification (new grads must obtain it prior to employment) and strong knowledge of radiation

Qualifications

Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
Ability to perform computed tomography procedures and evaluate images for quality.
Strong understanding of radiation safety, patient preparation, and clinical protocols.
Excellent communication and educational skills.

Responsibilities

Perform CT procedures and operate CT scanners.
Verify patient identity and prepare patients for imaging.
Optimize imaging protocols while adhering to ALARA principles.
Administer medications or contrast agents as needed and monitor for adverse reactions.
Evaluate image quality and assist with interventional procedures.
Educate and monitor students and other healthcare providers.
