Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience at a Georgia facility. You will work with a collaborative care team, applying radiologic expertise to obtain diagnostic images and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the exam.

The role requires ARRT radiography and CT certifications, a Radiologic Technology program, and a minimum of one year radiology experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience preferred.
• ARRT-R certification required (Radiography).
• ARRT-CT certification required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and independently, respecting ALARA principles.
• Clean and disinfect rooms and equipment; report issues promptly.
• Verify orders and patient identifiers; obtain clinical history as needed.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and help reduce patient anxiety.
