Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging and deliver compassionate patient care. This role emphasizes ALARA dose control, patient comfort, and precise documentation within RIS/PACS.

Requirements include ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, BLS, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. The position offers a sign-on bonus eligible and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R certification.
• ARRT-CT certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose levels.
• Maintain infection control, clean and disinfect rooms and equipment.
• Explain procedures and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety during exams.
• Document exams accurately in RIS/PACS and manage transfers as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies as required.
• Support department operations and maintain stocked, orderly areas.
