Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience within the radiology team. You will perform CT procedures, manage patient care, and ensure compliance with imaging protocols.

Required qualifications include ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and a minimum of 1 year radiology experience, with BLS certification. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a 36-hour weekday day shift, along with comprehensive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R certification required (Radiography).
• ARRT-CT certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department guidelines.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Maintain infection control and clean/disinfect rooms and equipment.
• Verify patient identity and orders; obtain clinical history.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address patient questions.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during visits.
• Administer contrast per protocol; use venipuncture as needed.
• Position patients; apply markers and shielding as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and re-scan if needed.
• Document findings in RIS/PACS and manage data transfers.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, restock equipment.
• Support department throughput and regulatory compliance.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Accredited Radiologic Technology program

Minimum 1 year radiology experience

ARRT-R (Radiography)
