Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join the CT Scan Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida. This full-time night position runs Monday-Thursday 9:00pm-7:00am with a sign-on bonus up to $15,000.

Responsibilities include operating GE CT equipment, patient prep, IV contrast administration, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years radiology experience, hospital background, and strong patient service skills.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years radiology experience preferred.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT procedures per protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists for optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer questions.

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida.

Full-Time Nights opportunity working Monday-Thursday 9:00pm-7:00am

At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

CT Technologist Responsibilities:

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions

Experience Requirements:

• 1-2 years Radiology Experience Preferred
• Experience working in a hospital setting Preferred
• Customer Service Experience Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Vocational School or Associate’s Degree
• Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARRT within 12 months of hire date.
