Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join the CT Scan Department in Jacksonville, Florida. This full-time day position involves rotating shifts across Baptist Downtown and Baptist MD Anderson locations, ensuring high-quality CT procedures and patient comfort.

The role requires ARRT (R) and CRT, plus BLS, with certification in CT to be obtained within 12 months. You will operate GE CT equipment, position patients, and collaborate with radiologists in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Vocational School or Associate's Degree.
• Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
• If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARRT within 12 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Performing high quality CT procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, Florida.

This is a Full-Time Days opportunity with rotating shifts at Baptist MD Anderson Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm and Baptist Downtown Tuesday-Friday 7:00am-5:30pm.

At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment.

Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

CT Technologist Responsibilities

Experience Requirements

• 1-2 years Radiology Experience
• Preferred Experience working in a hospital setting
• Preferred Customer Service Experience

Education & Credential Requirements
