Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Department at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a PRN, Varied Shifts opportunity. At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

CT Technologist Responsibilities:

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines

Experience Requirements:

• 1-2 years Radiology Experience
• Preferred Experience working in a hospital setting
• Preferred Customer Service Experience
• Preferred Education & Credential Requirements: Vocational School or Associate's Degree Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARRT within 12 months of hire date.
