Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA is seeking a CT Technologist for per diem, <40-hour shift range, with variable shifts. You will perform diagnostic CT procedures, work with radiologists, and participate in quality control.

Required are CA Radiologic Technologist licensure, ARRT CT certification within 1 year, and BLS. Prior hospital imaging experience is preferred; remote work is not offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• California Radiologic Technologist license required upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire through American Heart Association.
• ARRT National Registry in Radiography required; CT Registry within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to call schedule and adapt to staffing needs.

CT Technologist at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work <40>-hour, Variable shifts.

Under the direction of the Department Director, the day-to-day supervision of the Lead Technologist and/or Manager and in close collaboration with the Radiologists, the CT Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities according to department standards utilizing age-specific criteria. Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff. Participates in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities. Serves as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and to the radiologists. Participates in call schedule and remains flexible with job assignments and shifts to meet staffing needs of the department.

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program.
• Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center performing pediatric and adult CT scans.
