Providence Health Plan Group is looking for a CT Technologist to join their team at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This Per Diem position requires performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and maintaining collaboration with radiologists while delivering excellent patient care.

The ideal candidate will hold a California Radiologic Technologist license and relevant certifications. This role involves flexibility with shifts and participation in quality control and performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program.
• Valid California Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist in Radiography certification upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist in Computed Tomography certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scans and diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Collaborates with Radiologists and Department Director.
• Participates in quality control and performance improvement activities.

Job description

CT Technologist - CT Scan at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work <80>-hour, Variable shifts.

Job Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Department Director, the day-to-day supervision of the Lead Technologist and/or Manager and in close collaboration with the Radiologists, the CT Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities according to department standards utilizing age-specific criteria. Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff. Participates in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities. Serves as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and to the radiologists. Participates in call schedule and remains flexible with job assignments and shifts to meet staffing needs of the department.

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program.
• Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center performing pediatric and adult CT scans.
