Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist for the Beaches location in Jacksonville Beach, FL. This PRN, varied shifts role requires participation in call and holiday rotation while delivering high quality imaging and patient care in a collaborative radiology department.

The CT Technologist will operate and calibrate GE equipment, prepare patients for procedures involving IV contrast, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide education to patients about the process.

Qualifications

• Radiology experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality CT procedures following established protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists to obtain optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer questions.

CT Technologist

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Department at Baptist Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This is a PRN, Varied Shifts opportunity. Participation in call and holiday rotation required. At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

CT Technologist Responsibilities

Experience Requirements

• 1-2 years Radiology Experience
• Preferred Experience working in a hospital setting
• Preferred Customer Service Experience

Education & Credential Requirements

• Vocational School or Associate's Degree
• Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARRT within 12 months of hire date.
