Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a CT Technologist for the CT Department at Baptist South. This full-time day role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. You will operate GE CT equipment, prepare patients, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality imaging.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of radiology technologist experience, customer service skills, and be willing to obtain ARDMS/ARRT CT certification within 18 months of hire. A sign-on bonus may apply.

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity, working Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.

At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

As a CT Technologist, You Will Be Responsible For

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.

CT Technologist, CT Department, Experience;

If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARDMS or ARRT (CT) within 18 months of hire date.
