Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a CT Technologist to join the CT Department at Baptist South. This Full-Time Days role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, with eligibility for a sign-on bonus up to $12,000.

You will perform CT procedures, assist with patient prep, monitor vitals, operate GE CT equipment, and coordinate with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging while following safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Certified CT technologist required within 18 months of hire date.
• Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
• Customer service experience is valued.

Responsibilities

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity, working Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.

At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for:

Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines.

Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.

Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.

Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.

Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.

Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.

Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.

Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.

If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARDMS or ARRT (CT) within 18 months of hire date.
