Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a contract position at a Boston-area hospital. The role offers 40 hours per week on an AM shift, with a 13-week contract and potential extension. You will perform CT imaging, ensure safety, and provide patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT radiography certification with CT preferred, 1–2 years radiologic experience, and current BLS; ACLS preferred. Compensation is weekly and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Radiography (R) certification required; ARRT CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; CT imaging experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment for patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and radiation protection.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details

• $2,450 - $2,750 per week
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• AM shifts available
• 40 hrs/wk

Duties

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
