Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week contract in Boston, MA. The role offers 40 hours per week with AM shifts and the opportunity to extend based on performance and hospital needs.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT certification (R) with CT preference, an active state license, BLS, and CT imaging experience. ARRT CT certification preferred and ACLS is a plus. This is a rewarding clinical position with strong patient care focus.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license, if applicable.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners to obtain diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment ensuring patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and reassure comfort.
• Uphold radiation safety principles to protect patients.
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality and accuracy.

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details

• $2,450 - $2,750 per week
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• AM shifts available
• 40 hrs/wk

Duties

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
