Supplemental Health Care is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week contract in Boston, MA. The role offers 40 hours per week on AM shifts and a path to extension, with competitive weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT(R) certs.
• Active state radiologic technologist license if applicable.
• BLS cert required; ACLS preferred.
• 1-2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; CT imaging preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure radiation safety and patient comfort during scans.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details

• $2,450 - $2,750 per week
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• AM shifts available
• 40 hrs/wk

Duties

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
