Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a contract position at a partnering hospital in Boston, MA. This opportunity offers 40 hours per week on a 13-week assignment with potential extension and competitive weekly pay.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited Radiologic Technology degree and ARRT radiography certification, with CT credentials preferred. BLS required; ACLS preferred; 1–2 years CT/radiology experience highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiography; CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; prior CT imaging preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Capture diagnostic CT images using CT equipment.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment for patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and radiation protection practices.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details

• $2,450 - $2,750 per week
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• AM shifts available
• 40 hrs/wk

Duties

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
