Adventist Health Mendocino County seeks a Radiologic Technologist to operate CT equipment and produce high-quality cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation. The role also includes opportunities to perform general radiography and fluoroscopy within a team-focused environment.

The position requires ARRT licensure, state radiography credentials (CA), and BLS certification; CT certification is essential for certain locations, with additional CT-related requirements varying by state.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
• ARRT-registered RT with CT specialty required
• State license to practice radiography: CA required
• CT advanced certification: required in OR/HI; CA preferred
• BLS certification required
• Fluoroscopy license: preferred in CA/OR
• Venipuncture (IV) certification: required

Responsabilités

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Maintains accurate records, files and billing information.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality guidelines.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
