Job summary

Uniontown Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures within the department and rotate through related radiology duties. The role emphasizes patient safety, image quality, and collaboration with radiologists.

The ideal candidate will have graduation from a medical imaging program, ARRT or NMTCB certification, state licensure where applicable, and BLS. Experience in CT and infection control is preferred, with duties including contrast administration and IV support as

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Radiography certification with the ARRT or NMTCB.
• Must possess current licensure as required by the state where services will be provided.
• Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
• State and federal background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare room, equipment and supplies for CT exams.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain required history.
• Perform CT exams and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Monitor patient status and report deviations to Radiologist.
• Use PACS to verify images are available for read by Radiologist.
• Maintain safety and infection control during procedures.
• Assist with IV access and contrast administration as ordered.
