Job summary

Fairview Health Services seeks a CT Technologist to join the imaging team at Northland Medical Center in Princeton, MN. This casual, as-needed position offers day/evening/night/weekend shifts and a chance to contribute to high-quality patient imaging care.

You will perform examinations, ensure data integrity, and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals while adhering to safety guidelines and department protocols.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiology Tech certification required.
• BLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross).
• One year of related imaging experience preferred.

Job Overview

Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a CT Technologist to join our imaging team at Northland Medical Center in Princeton, MN! This is a casual position that will work as needed by the department. There are day/evening/night/weekend shifts available to pick up.

Shift Pay

• If the majority of your allocated shift hours are worked between 3pm - 11pm, your hours worked in this shift will receive an additional $6.00 per hour, on top of your base rate & shift differentials.
• If the majority of your allocated shift hours are worked between 11pm - 7am, your hours worked in this shift will receive an additional $8.00 per hour, on top of your base rate & shift differentials.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Performs excellent patient care
• Performs examinations
• Identifies relevant data from images accurately
• Uses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs.
• Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional
• Communicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam
• Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol
• Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures
• Ensures patient data integrity
• Adheres to radiologic safety guidelines and diagnostic testing protocols/procedures
• Accurately documents in compliance with regulatory agency requirements, completes computer functions, edits, scheduling, and billing status changes

Required Qualifications

• ARRT Radiology Tech
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a related role
• Additional certifications in Imaging
• Previous ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
